Welcome to Kimball Lake Resort
We are a 5-cabin housekeeping resort located on a small chain of peaceful lakes in a beautiful wooded area near Minong, Wis., in the northwest corner of Washburn County. We're only 30 miles from the prime vacation hubs of Spooner, Hayward and the Chequamegon National Forest in northwestern Wisconsin, yet far enough off the beaten path to provide guests with a quiet, relaxing vacation away from the more crowded and busier tourist destinations.
Bass, panfish and northern keep anglers busy on the Kimball Lakes chain.
Nothing beats paddling the shoreline on a peaceful, warm summer day.
Four lakeshore cabins and one cabin in the woods provide a comfortable stay.
Winter – Our traditional cabins take on a serene new look with the first snowfall.
Spring – Wildlife returns to the Kimball Lakes chain when the ice goes out.
Summer – Sunrise or sunset, the best times for fishermen to enjoy the lakes.
Fall – The Lower Kimball shoreline paints its own canvas with the changing colors.
Such a great surprise we found this place. It was an adventure just getting here. We were welcomed by friendly folk ... too bad we couldn't stay longer.Resort guests, August, 2012
This is one of our favorite annual trips. Always relaxing, stress-free ... a most lovely rustic (with all the comforts) place to enjoy the fall season.St. Croix Trail cabin guest, October, 2012
